Milngate House is a quiet country retreat offering something a little different for the traveller. Set just 4 miles off the M74 beneath the rolling hills of Moffat with views to the extended countryside. The rooms are spacious and individually decorated to a high standard with attention to detail. There is a tea/coffee tray, toiletries, bathrobes, alarm clock and electric blankets. Children are welcome - cot and highchair provided. Pets welcome by negotiation. Our breakfast is hearty using our own free range eggs and dinner is available using fresh local seasonal produce. Come and sample our hospitality where you can dine in our cosy dining room with log burning stove or in warmer weather relax in the garden with a barbecue and chat over a glass of wine. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and fishing and we can provide cycle storage and drying facilities.
